It’s all very funny
the intensity of a want
How strong the passion can burn inside
how greatly it can haunt
Determination will not deter
Until the prize is won
But how quick an attitude can change
once the deed is done
The want for what was
is now no more
The must find a new desire
to so intently implore
It may from time to time
look back on wants from the past
and laugh at itself saying
How was I suppose to know it wouldn’t last
